I came to study in Western Australia because my family had been here on holidays and it’s a lovely place for studies. The positive aspect of CIC was the guidance by the lecturers – help and support was always available when I needed it the most.

As Partner Programs Coordinator I assist those CIC students who are studying in our university-taught Diploma program. My goal is to advise students about their classes and coordinate their pathway towards university studies.

I am responsible for the day-to-day running of academic matters at the College. This includes looking after student timetables, helping students with academic enquiries and ensuring the exams are conducted in a fair and efficient manner.

My main responsibility is to coordinate the Communication Skills units and support programs offered at CIC. I teach the Study Skills course and provide assistance with assignment preparation and advice to students on how they can improve their study and language skills.

My first impression of CIC was very welcoming and I loved the atmosphere. You have to experience Perth for yourself, there are beautiful beaches and it’s a great place to be.
Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) enable students to complete some certificate, diploma and degree courses faster. Exemptions or credits are usually based on successful completion of equivalent models or units at another institution. Applications for credits should include details of unit syllabus and certified copies of the academic transcript.
In some cases CIC also recognises the skills and knowledge students may have gained from life experiences, work experience and any training provided at work.
